Collecting Ox Gallstones is a simple process. However, it requires careful attention to optimize recovery and preserve the quality of the stones.

Opening the Gallbladder:

• Carefully open each gallbladder.
• Filter the bile using a very fine mesh sieve to recover stones of all sizes, including the smallest ones.
• Thoroughly check that no stones remain attached to the inner walls of the gallbladder.
• Also inspect the liver and bile duct, where small stones may be present.

Cleaning the Stones:

• Gently rinse the stones with cold water to remove bile residues.
• This step helps reduce the risk of the stones cracking during drying.

Ox Gallstone Drying and Storage Conditions

Drying is a crucial step to ensure proper preservation of the Ox Gallstones.

Drying Method:

• Gently place the Ox Gallstones in a cardboard box (a shoebox is ideal) with small slits cut on the sides to encourage airflow.
• Line the bottom of the box with paper towels and carefully place the Ox Gallstones on top.
• Place the lid on the box to protect the stones from direct sunlight, which could darken them and reduce their value.
• A slow drying process at room temperature is ideal—between 15°C and 20°C (59°F to 68°F).

Take another slightly larger cardboard box, line the bottom with bubble wrap or other cushioning material, and place your first box inside. Fill the space between the two boxes with bubble wrap or similar material to keep the inner box well centered and securely cushioned.

Take a first cardboard box and line it with a thick layer of cotton, paper towels, bubble wrap, or even shredded newspaper to cushion the Ox Gallstones. Make sure to also protect the inner sides of the box. Once the ox gallstones are placed inside, fill the remaining space with the rest of the cotton or other material so that the ox gallstones are securely held in place and well protected. Seal the package properly with adhesive tape.

Seal your package properly with adhesive tape and send it to us via registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt or any other shipping method that allows tracking (Chronopost, DHL, FEDEX, UPS, etc.).
We recommend purchasing insurance for the shipment to cover you in case of loss (which rarely happens, but it’s better to be safe).
The package should be sent to the address listed on the shipping form. Upon receipt of your package, we will analyze the Ox Gallstones, check if they are properly dried, verify if they match the photo you sent, and precisely weigh them. We will then quickly provide a detailed report and a final offer based on the received Ox Gallstones. If you decide not to accept our offer, we will return your gallstones within 8 days. So it costs you nothing to try!

We come to you – Second Method

In this case, there’s no need to pack the Ox Gallstones; we will weigh them with you on-site.
